My name is Lorraine Schaefers LMFT and I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist in both New York and New Jersey. I am passionate about supporting couples as they deepen their connection to each other, heal past wounds, bring passion back to their marriages and create safety and intimacy in their relationships.

I am passionate about my work and helping people other than couples to also grow and strengthen their relationships of all kinds. It can be a challenge in life to feel misunderstood, judged or disconnected to those we have loved or still love and sometimes even feeling helpless.

I adhere to a Christian approach listening with an empathic lens while encouraging and educating thru the word of God. I also have a background in psychology and use various other counseling techniques to help bring healing to real life issues concerning depression, anxiety, parenting, conflict, anxiety, destructive relationships and divorce recovery to name a few.
